The Bay Springs Bulldogs basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Newton Tigers to 33 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Bay Springs will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 67-30 non-league loss to Biloxi (Biloxi, MS). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
