The Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Cumberland Clippers to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgewater-Raynham for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Bishop Hendricken will play a Trojans team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, MA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Cumberland falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Clippers host Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to play the Kilties in a Division I game on Monday, January 6.
