Texas High School Basketball - New Braunfels overwhelms Boerne

The New Braunfels Unicorns basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Boerne Greyhounds to 33 in the Unicorns league triumph on Friday.

The Unicorns now possess a 16-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pieper for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, January 7. New Braunfels will confront a Warriors team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Boerne (Boerne, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Boerne falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a record of 17-7. Wagner lost 67-58 in their recent league game against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX)
