Georgia High School Basketball - Briarwood Academy triumphant over David Emanuel Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) and the host David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA), observed Briarwood Academy's basketball team overwhelm David Emanuel Academy by a margin of 51-23.

The Buccaneers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Brentwood trounced Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA), 51-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Twiggs Academy Trojans (Jeffersonville, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. David Emanuel Academy will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Central Georgia Arts (Macon, GA).
