In Friday's league contest, the host Yankton Bucks/Gazelles basketball team scored a good 64-56 triumph over the Brookings Bobcats.
The Bucks/Gazelles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles go into the AA contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Aberdeen Central was topped by Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 63-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bobcats confront the Tea Titans (Tea, SD) in a AA contest, on Monday, January 6. Brookings will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 73-71 league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD).
