Minnesota High School Basketball - Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart overwhelmed by New Ulm Cathedral

In Friday's league test, the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) basketball squad trounced the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), by a score of 80-42.

Next, the Greyhounds encounter the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a A Section 2 test, on Tuesday, January 7. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 8-0 record after their 64-46 league win over St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).

The Mustangs (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers come into the A Section 2 test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Springfield bounced Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 91-36, in a league test.
