Next, the Bison clash with the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 6. Buffalo will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 50-45 non-league win over West (West, TX).

The Goats (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region III District 20 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Westwood bounced Elkhart (Elkhart, TX), 68-42, in a league test.
