The Bulldogs (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors come into the 5A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 10-13 record. In their last challenge, Seguin prevailed over Highlands (San Antonio, TX), 60-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 52-46 league loss to Lanier (San Antonio, TX).
