Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Lutheran Warriors (Westland, MI), 59-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cabrini upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Monarchs host Novi Christian Academy (Novi, MI) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-3. Novi Christian Academy lost 74-71 in their recent non-league match against Roeper (Birmingham, MI)
The Warriors now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitmore Lake for a Michigan Independent - Red match on Tuesday, January 7. Lutheran will face a Trojans squad coming off a 61-46 non-league win over Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
