The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) and the host Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH), observed Cedarville's basketball team knock off Madison Plains by a score of 56-48.

The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH). The Cardinals come into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Triad dropped by Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH), 64-17, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Madison Plains will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
