The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) and the host Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME), observed Fort Kent's basketball team knock off Central Aroostook by a score of 78-70.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks come into the C North challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Hodgdon was knocked off by Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 56-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Central Aroostook will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 82-25 non-league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME).
