In Friday's league contest, the visiting South Albany Redhawks basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Central Panthers.
The Redhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Raiders go into the 5A Mid-Willamette contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Crescent Valley was toppled by West Albany (Albany, OR), 54-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Central will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Royal Scots go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 69-59 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, OR).
