The Chestatee War Eagles got by the visiting Dawson County Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 49-48 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the War Eagles clash with the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Chestatee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 70-31 league win over Johnson (Gainesville, GA).
