The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) and the visiting Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions (Nashville, TN), observed Lipscomb Academy's basketball team knock off Christ Presbyterian Academy by a score of 54-37.

The Mustangs (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Tigers come into the Division II-AA Middle challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Ensworth dropped by Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN), 70-64, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the East Nashville Magnet Eagles (Nashville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Christ Presbyterian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 74-55 non-league loss to Haywood (Brownsville, TN).
