The Clarendon Broncos basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Highland Park Hornets to 34 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Memphis for a 2A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. Clarendon will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 54-51 league win over Highland Park (Amarillo, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Highland Park falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Hornets host Panhandle (Panhandle, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Panhandle won 64-40 in their recent league game against Wellington (Wellington, TX)
