The Dalton Catamounts basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins to 33 in the Catamounts non-league triumph on Friday.

The Catamounts now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Darlington for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Dalton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 73-48 non-league win over Johnson (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Northwest Whitfield falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to confront the Panthers in a AAA Region 7 game on Saturday, January 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-10. Ridgeland lost 65-56 in their recent non-league game against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA)
