Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Deer Lakes nips Highlands

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Deer Lakes Lancers basketball team scored a close 63-60 win over the Highlands Golden Rams.
The Lancers (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Knights come into the WPIAL 4A 1 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Knoch edged Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Rams battle the North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Highlands will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record.
