Next, the Rams clash with the Ellwood Christian Eagles (Selma, AL) in a 1A Area 7 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Marion will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 56-41 non-league loss to LAMP (Montgomery, AL).

The Tigers (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Central was routed by Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL), 60-52, in a non-league test.
