The Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) basketball edged the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), 47-45 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Humboldt for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Dyersburg will play a Vikings team coming off a 77-69 non-league loss to Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Ripley falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Halls (Halls, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Halls lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN)
