With the victory, East Wilkes advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to meet the Sauras in a 1A Northwest match on Tuesday, January 7. The Sauras enter the match with a record of 8-2. South Stokes won 46-40 in their recent league match against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)

The Falcons now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Surry for a 2A Foothills match on Tuesday, January 7. Forbush will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 84-68 league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-4.
