With the victory, El Reno advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Indians host MacArthur (Lawton, OK) to face the Highlanders in a 5A District 1 match on Tuesday, January 14. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 6-4.

The Owls now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncan for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Elgin will face a Demons squad coming off a 82-35 league loss to Lawton (Lawton, OK). The Demons record now stands at 2-6.
