With the victory, Eureka advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Hornets host Clinton (Clinton, IL) to face the Maroons in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Maroons enter the match with a record of 9-6. Clinton lost 43-37 in their recent non-league match against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL)

The Mustangs now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tremont for a Heart of Illinois match on Tuesday, January 7. Ridgeview will face a Turks squad coming off a 57-47 non-league win over PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Turks record now stands at 12-2.
