Ohio High School Basketball - Fairfield holds off Lakota West

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Fairfield Indians basketball team scored a close 61-59 triumph over the Lakota West Firebirds.
The Indians (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Highlanders go into the Greater Miami contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Oak Hills nipped Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH), 40-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Firebirds confront the Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH) in a Greater Miami contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Lakota West will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Middies go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 77-49 non-league win over Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH).
