The Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) basketball edged the host Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND), 83-78 in Friday's league bout.
The Roughriders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Fargo North for a AA East bout on Tuesday, January 7. Red River will play a Spartans team coming off a 71-69 league win over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
