The Buffalos (23-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Victoria West (Victoria, TX). The Warriors come into the 5A Region III District 22 challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Victoria West trounced Terry (Rosenberg, TX), 57-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Victoria East will attempt to improve on its 15-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 56-50 league loss to Randle (Richmond, TX).
