The Yazoo City Indians basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Gentry Rams to 64 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now have a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Canton for a 5A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. Yazoo City will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-42 league win over Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Gentry falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 11-6. Holmes County Central lost 52-39 in their recent league game against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS)
