Texas High School Basketball - George West succumbs to London

The London Pirates defeated the host George West Longhorns basketball squad by a final score of 46-32 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 outing, on Tuesday, January 7. London will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Greyhounds come into the outing with a 13-10 record after their 77-38 league win over Odem (Odem, TX).

The Longhorns (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears come into the 3A Region IV District 29 outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, West Oso was defeated by Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX), 66-39, in a league outing.
