The Grandview Zebras basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Maypearl Panthers to 47 in the Zebras league triumph on Friday.

The Zebras now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Blooming Grove for a 3A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, January 7. Grandview will confront a Lions team coming off a 63-32 league loss to Keene (Keene, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Maypearl falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Panthers host West (West, TX) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 11-8. West lost 50-45 in their recent non-league game against La Vega (Waco, TX)
