New York High School Basketball - Xaverian nips Holy Cross

In Friday's league contest, the host Xaverian Clippers basketball team scored a close 69-62 win over the Holy Cross Knights.
The Clippers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest, on Monday, January 6. Holy Cross will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
