The Kearsarge Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Hopkinton Hawks to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Mascoma for a Division III game on Monday, January 6. Kearsarge will confront a Royals team coming off a 41-37 league win over Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Royals record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Hopkinton falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Conant (Jaffrey, NH) to confront the Orioles in a Division III game on Tuesday, January 7. The Orioles go into the game with a record of 1-4. Conant lost 41-37 in their recent league game against Mascoma (Canaan, NH)
