The Bobcats (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX). The Wildcats come into the 1A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Brookeland prevailed over Chester (Chester, TX), 96-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Spurger Pirates (Spurger, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Leggett will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 68-23 league win over Goodrich (Goodrich, TX).
