With the victory, Pine Eagle advances its record to 3-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Union (Union, OR) to face the Bobcats in a 1A Old Oregon match on Thursday, January 9. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 9-5. Union won 51-32 in their recent non-league match against Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR)

The Locomotives now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crane for a 1A High Desert match on Thursday, January 9. Huntington will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Regis (Stayton, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-0.
