The Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Saks Wildcats to 67 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Spring Garden for a 1A Area 12 challenge on Tuesday, January 7. Jacksonville Christian Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-34 non-league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-0.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL) in a 3A Area 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Saks will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 64-56 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, AL).
