In Friday's non-league test, the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Jacksonville Titans (Jacksonville, AR), by a score of 64-47.

Next, the Comets encounter the Nashville Scrappers (Nashville, AR) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Mills University Studies will attempt to improve on its 17-1 season record. The Scrappers come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 80-45 non-league win over Kirby (Kirby, AR).

The Titans (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Hornets come into the 5A Central test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Maumelle beat Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN), 74-65, in a non-league test.
