The Jefferson Dragons basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting West Hall Spartans to 55 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Forsyth for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Jefferson will confront a Broncos team coming off a 70-57 non-league win over Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Broncos record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, West Hall falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) to confront the Bears in a AAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bears go into the game with a record of 15-1. Cherokee Bluff won 65-53 in their recent league game against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
