Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Laurel victorious over Rochester

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Laurel Spartans basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the Rochester Rams.
The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Rams go into the WPIAL 2A 4 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, South Side was topped by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 63-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Rochester will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Scotties go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 69-57 league win over Shenango (New Castle, PA).
