The Wabasso Rabbits got by the visiting Lester Prairie Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 71-66 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Rabbits clash with the Renville County West Jaguars (Renville, MN) in a A Section 3 outing, on Monday, January 6. Wabasso will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 79-52 league win over Canby (Canby, MN).

The Bulldogs (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Knights come into the A Section 2 outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's held off Nicollet (Nicollet, MN), 83-77, in a league outing.
