Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lin-Wood Lumberjacks (Lincoln, NH), 64-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Newfound Regional advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bears host White Mountains (Whitefield, NH) to meet the Spartans in a Division III match on Friday, January 3. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 1-3. White Mountains won 79-37 in their recent league match against Berlin (Berlin, NH)
The Lumberjacks now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Profile for a Division IV match on Friday, January 3.
