North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek overwhelmed by North Mecklenburg

The North Mecklenburg Vikings bounced the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks basketball squad by a final score of 91-56 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City outing, on Tuesday, January 7. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 0-12 record after their 58-15 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).

The Mavericks (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams come into the 3A/4A Queen City outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Harding University was overwhelmed by Chambers (Charlotte, NC), 93-77, in a league outing.
