In Friday's league test, the McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL) basketball squad got by the host Millry Wildcats (Millry, AL), by a score of 51-47.

Next, the Demons encounter the Jackson Aggies (Jackson, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. McIntosh will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Aggies come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Wilcox Central (Camden, AL).

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians come into the 1A Area 1 test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Southern Choctaw was nipped by Jackson (Jackson, AL), 95-42, in a non-league test.
