In Friday's league contest, the visiting McKinney Boyd Broncos basketball team scored a close 70-69 triumph over the Princeton Panthers.

The Broncos (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Plano West (Plano, TX). The Wolves go into the 6A Region I District 6 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Plano West nipped Prosper (Prosper, TX), 80-62, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Princeton will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 80-46 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX).
