Tennessee High School Basketball - Riverside thwarts McNairy Central

January 3, 2025: Selmer, TN 38375

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN) and the host McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN), observed Riverside's basketball team knock off McNairy Central by a score of 55-39.

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Bolivar Central prevailed over Chester County (Henderson, TN), 63-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. McNairy Central will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Fairley (Memphis, TN).
