The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, South-Doyle defeated Cocke County (Newport, TN), 55-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the West Rebels (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Morristown-Hamblen West will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 68-63 non-league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
