The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) and the host Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), observed Page County's basketball team overcome Stonewall Jackson by a score of 66-49.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons come into the Bull Run challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Woodstock defeated Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 49-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals battle the Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA) in a Bull Run challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Stonewall Jackson will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 55-30 league win over Madison County (Madison, VA).
