In Friday's league contest, the host South Burlington Wolves basketball team scored a good 58-43 triumph over the Mt. Mansfield Cougars.
The Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Milton (Milton, VT). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Milton topped Winooski (Winooski, VT), 39-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) in a Metro contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Lakers go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT).
