In Friday's league contest, the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors basketball team scored a big 66-31 win over the Sutton Sammies.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Crusaders come into the Dual Valley contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Whitinsville Christian was trounced by Hopedale (Hopedale, MA), 67-20, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sammies battle the Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA) in a Dual Valley battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Sutton will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 64-24 league loss to Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA).
