The Northern Adirondack Bobcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Peru Nighthawks to 53 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I game on Tuesday, January 7. Northern Adirondack will play a Spartans team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Peru falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II game on Tuesday, January 7. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-6. AuSable Valley won 81-14 in their recent non-league game against Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY)
