Kansas High School Basketball - Northwest knocks off West

January 3, 2025: Wichita, KS 67213

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) and the host West Pioneers (Wichita, KS), observed Northwest's basketball team overcome West by a margin of 66-52.

The Grizzlies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders come into the Greater Wichita City challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Kapaun Mt. Carmel defeated West (Wichita, KS), 67-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita City challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. West will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 56-26 league win over Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS).
