Georgia High School Basketball - Peach County falls to Westover

January 3, 2025: Albany, GA 31707

The Peach County Trojans basketball squad (Fort Valley, GA), was outscored 70-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Westover Patriots (Albany, GA)

With the victory, Westover advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA) to meet the Bearcats in a AAA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Bearcats enter the battle with a record of 7-5. Bainbridge won 49-44 in their recent non-league battle against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA)

The Trojans now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warner Robins for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. Peach County will meet a Demons squad coming off a 53-40 non-league loss to St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA). The Demons record now stands at 5-4.
