Texas High School Basketball - Pilot Point knocks off Valley View

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), observed Pilot Point's basketball team overcome Valley View by a margin of 57-42.

The Bearcats (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Paradise defeated Ponder (Ponder, TX), 37-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Valley View will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 69-48 league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
